In April I visited the Shuswap Okanagan area to talk about my new book, ‘The Silver Lining’. I went to the community library in Chase, the libraries in Lake Country and Mission and did a joint presentation with Molly March at the Vernon Museum. The book is all about cattle ranching and silver mining in the Merritt area and was very well received by the children and librarians, partly because it relates directly to their part of BC.
Here are four drawings from the children of The Willingstone Academy in Kelowna. They were asked to draw pictures of either Joe the cowboy, or Norm the villain. Great pictures – thanks to the artists!
